Online Safety Tips

In class we discussed how to be safe on line. Discuss what you have learnt about how to be a good digital citizen with someone in your family.

Coastal Art

In New Plymouth we have a beautiful coastal walkway. Room 7 was lucky enough to walk along the coast walk a few weeks ago. We have recreated a photo taken on that day using pastels. We hope our quadblogger students from Viscount School, Kahutara School and Cromwell School might be able to one day enjoy our coastal walkway too. We look forward to seeing what you have been busy doing at your schools.

Rainforest Projects

Read Tayla and Nani's poster to find out what the word Jaguar means. Nice presentation girls.

Room 7's Motto

I have seen lots of examples of children in Room 7 following our class motto which is written above the pictures we drew of ourselves. Well done Room 7.

Big G Celebrating 20 hour Famine

Some of the girls in Room 7 enjoyed a sleepover in cardboxes so they could understand how homeless people feel. Just before going to bed everybody enjoyed a chocolate fondue fountain. Big G had a birds eye view of the fountain by sitting on top of the paper towel roll. Thank you girls for giving Big G an exciting weekend outing.

Opening of Koru Landing

Today Oakura School took part in the official opening of the fantastic Koru Landing. Kara is presenting Room 7's letters to Helen and Jeremy, who played a big part in designing and building the Koru Landing. Also present are other parents who helped make this wonderful area for our students to play.
