Airport Visit

Room 6 and 7 visited the New Plymouth Airport today and were lucky enough to look inside the maintenance shed and see planes that were in the process of being fixed. Also we went up to the top of the control tower and watched the air controller guide planes in and out of the airport. We had to be very quiet while there and look carefully for planes coming in. We then had hot chips from the airport cafe before returning to school. A fantastic morning and a big thank you to our parent helpers and Henri's Great Uncle Paul, who works at the airport and made our trip possible. View our slide show to see what we got up to at the airport.
